South Carolina scored 43. 93, which falls between the 25th and 50th percentile. South Carolina continued its worse-than-average performance in cancer care, diabetes treatment and maternal and child health, but did better than most in hospital care and home health care. The state did not receive a “very strong” rating in any measure. Diabetes care slipped into the “very weak” category. Federal number crunchers also ranked states in 13 select measures. South Carolina ranked third for improved mobility in home health care, which is the percent of home health care patients who get better at walking or moving around.

This is the age when you just swoop down, pick up the child and divert him with a dance, a walk to the park or a trip to the kitchen to play with the pots and pans. And you do this, not because you’re permissive, but because your son isn’t old enough to divert himself. Although your husband won’t listen to reason, he may listen to a therapist. Tell him that you won’t return until the two of you see a psychologist or a clinical social worker to ask if it’s OK to spank a toddler. No reputable therapist would agree with your husband… meetings, however, you should either consider getting a separation or a divorce. This despite the president’s incomprehensibly awesome power—appointing the nation’s highest military and civilian officials; commanding the armed forces; shaping foreign policy; declaring war; pardoning criminals; holding the most sensitive secrets of the land; causing panic or a boom on Wall Street with a few words; determining the health of the environment; selecting a vice president who would succeed him (or her) on death or disability. Or does she have hallucinations of imminent personal danger?
How worrisome is McCain’s notorious, volcanic temper? Longtime Senate Republican colleague Sen. Thad Cochran was moved to say, "The thought of (McCain) being president sends a chill down my spine… He loses his temper and he worries me. " McCain dismisses his temper as confined to questions of Washington waste, although many a reporter and politicians who disagree with him have endured his rages.
