Compare Texas’ rate with that of Western Europe Japan and Canada at zero percent and you’ll see that we have a huge problem on our hands. Although more than half of our state’s uninsured children are currently eligible for Medicaid or Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) they are not enrolled. Ill. panel seeks advice preventing youth suicide
The Associated Press
Family members blamed bullying in at least two of those deaths. Bullying also may have been a factor in two of the recent suicide cases in Illinois Moore said. She did not elaborate but Moore said bullying can cause chronic stress that can lead to mental health disorders and suicide. “So it’s actually a very serious issue” she said. President bama Hosts Health Reform Summit
U.S. News & World Report
Judging by the cast of thousands that attended President bama’s health reform summit today the same might be said of nurturing national health reform (though now Secretary of State Clinton was conspicuously absent from this event as she has been in general on healthcare reform since joining team bama). The purpose of the event was ostensibly to bring various stakeholders together to discuss ideas about how to reduce healthcare spending and improve health insurance coverage. And indeed representatives of many interest groups were present from insurers to private companies to patient advocacy groups as well as dozens of elected officials. (Even the single-payer advocates got an invite to the summit albeit a tardy one I’m told.

Self-reliance is no health-care solution
Daily Breeze
Relief based on “just get it over with already” tends to be short-lived. Now comes the great unknown — two parents in their late 40s scratching around for employment competing against thousands and thousands of other terrific catches without enough fishermen to catch them. At least CBRA allows them to extend their group health insurance policy for a while. Such a deal — at $1000 per month. ne parent has diabetes; one child has asthma. Where they obtain health insurance down the road and for how much remains to be seen. That’s why letters like the one I received from Bonnie Advertisement yld_mgr.
